Default Thank you members and staff of gopherforum....

OK, first off I would like to say thank you to everyone that has replied to my posts with all of the great information.

Now, I wanted to say this... I signed up for another forum today (I will not even mention the name, as I feel everyone should just stay away). When I signed up, I posted a topic about starting a lawn care business. The first reply was telling me something along the lines of "I cant stand how everyone thinks they are a landscaper, blah blah blah". Every post after that was total discouragement. You would think that since you post something in "Starting a lawn care business" section of the forum, you would get help instead of discouragement. Guess not.

So, I just wanted to post this to say thank you Steve, and all other members of this forum for making it what it is, as well as helping us new comers with full support.

I can guess which one but I will respect you by not saying the "SITE" I asked some of the same questions when I first started; I asked over there and over here-people smacked me down over there and here they really tried to help me. I prefer this forum by far. Steve has done a great job as well as the other great members here. I'm just going into my second year and every job I do I learn from it. I'm so glad I've had this forum to come to and ask all the "dumb" questions, never fearing that I'll be humiliated for asking.

Keep up the good work Steve!

Yes, its crazy how a forum can survive when it cant gain new members because the old members are cutting everyone down. I would be banning some accounts if I owned that forum.

It's hard to find a forum where everyone isn't so smug. This place is kinda like hanging out with your friends. lol.

Steve, here's some testimonials for ya, hahahahaha!

OK Steve I am going to throw it out there, HERE IT IS.

Lets have a 1st annual Meet and Greet, of course it would be after this years mowing season. My wife has been an event coorindator, she can help you set it up. I don't mind flying to a central location for a nice weekend (vacation) and meeting everybody once a year, having fun lawn competitions, kicking back and swapping stories..ETC..ETC... Just a thought thats all. Steve PM me if your interested in some of the ideas we have. It may be a off the wall idea but I thought I would just throw it out there.

Bobby

Thanks everyone and thanks to you too for helping.

Bobby, that is a great idea. Who knows, maybe something set up around a time of a trade show might work.
