I have tested this on my sites and for the last 6 weeks on my customers and the results are speaking for themselves. All of it is white hat only so you don't get penalized by the big "G".

Here is an example after 6 weeks with one customer

Keyword 1 - started at 0 now at 38
Keyword 2 - started at 95 now at 65
keyword 3 - started at 0 now at 56
keyword 4 - started at 0 now at 69
keyword 5 - started at 222 now at 29

As this is a manufacturer of a product, the keywords are VERY competitive. We are only using the Sandbag package at this time. When I say they started at 0, this means that they did not show up in the top 1,000 results.

For instance keyword 2 is highly competitive and is searched 49,500 times per month world wide and 40,500 times per month in the US.

I can't get into specifics, but I can say that this process is so random, another SEO pro would have a hard time discovering what I am doing. I know as I have had others try. That is also the reason I don't use company names or keywords in posts.

How do bounty hunters find their prey? They look for patterns and follow that to the prey. I don't have a pattern, that is why these sites I have been using this system on have survived the Google change. Heck I don't even link to your site all the time. That is how random it is.

I've always wanted to do that.

I don't think I qualify, as I don't host with GoDaddy, but "1" is my guess anyway.

HAHA nice! I've always wanted to do that too! You do qualify, if you want a new site. My purpose in doing this is I want to build a site for someone on this forum to showcase my abilities to all forum members. This new site will be hosted on godaddy because I am familiar with their interface. I'm sure it isn't much different elsewhere (it all pretty much works the same way) but since I'm not getting paid for this, I prefer to use what I am comfortable with.

If you want a new site and are willing to purchase hosting from godaddy then your bid stands. Until someone comes along and bids 2 dollars that is.

haha I always wanted to do that more than bidding a dollar. I never understood (and I've seen it more than once) someones turn comes up and there is 3 others to bid and they still bid a dollar! lol

On hosting accounts there is a way to FTP the files up to the hosting account. I will help if I need to. So it should not matter who you host with but you may have to change the account to allow uploads via ftp to your site.
