Yeah, i'm using a lot of "RED" in my business for this new season.

Blue is the color of trust, but red is just awesome... "POWER" baby!

Hello,

I have some suggestions from a graphic design perspective for your flyer. The first problem that I see- and I've seen it in a couple of the other flyers that I've seen on this website- is that you have multiple and unreadable fonts on your flyer. When I say multiple, I mean a simple count. 5 makes your message far to confusing and gives the overall design a very jumbled look. Take a look at any major ad campaign (http://www.chaosmint.com/mac/ipod-ads/ for example). In that ad they only have one word, and most certainly only one font. The person looking at your flyer is only going to scan it quickly. If the message that he/she sees isn't simple then he/she is going to throw it in the trash without giving it another thought.

This is where I get to my second point. After scanning your flyer for a good 10 seconds (more time than will be given by the average potential customer) I have no recollection of what your business is called. Your website name is another victim of misplaced typography. Look at the flyer. What is the most unreadable font on it? Your business name! Try to think like your customer. If I was a customer and had 4 flyers in front of me, and was choosing a company based on the flyer alone, I would choose one that had a name that I actually remembered. So- a basic rule of thumb (that can be broken, but not by amateur graphic designers) is that script font (read: cursive) should NEVER EVER be used.

My third point is that your flyer is seriously lacking some hierarchy. Again, you have less than 10 seconds to get a call out of potential customers. That is NOT enough time for them to read through a bulleted list of everything you do. Keep it simple!

Anyways I don't mean to be harsh, just trying to help you out. Good Luck!

I forgot to mention that this flyer is less than 50% it's actual size

This flyer like most of mine, are meant to be folded
(below the website address, is the fold line)

As for the cursive type font; I agree to some extent, but not too much that it should be banned from all advertisements.

In my area, I am lucky to say cursive is very common - the French believe it to be their personal font. I'm not sure at all if it's popular in America.

If the font was say, a sloppy/tacky custom type which is *new* I would have never used it.

If my customer cannot read basic cursive, even in bold lettering - I would be thankful if they decided not to contact me. I understand that maybe a regular font would be easier to read but;
Let's not forget, fonts are available for us to send a "message" to our customers. Cursive may give my company a refined image.

Well... that's the entire point of creating an ad for a company which offers various services, no?

Cheese, I was going to make a few suggestions last night, but it was late... now I am in a hurry to get somewhere, so "Ugh" again..

Real quick - blyn, is spot-on with most everything he said.
Your ads look "cool" but they lack the basics of advertising fundamentals.

I'll try and pop back in later to explain further.

The colors are awesome - at least when viewed on a monitor.

Scott,

I love your creativity!

You can really design some great, attention getting, in your face, graphics.

Would you want to try and utilize some of the previous suggestions along with using an attention getting headline at the top of your card? Maybe make a couple and see how members vote on them?

That way you could see which designs other liked better before you sent them out?
