I didn't get to do a video today because i was working on the edger but I WILL try and do it tomorrow. It seems like it catches but doesn't do anything. That one day it caught but wouldn't rewind back in.

A Honda powered mower for $50 bucks sounds like a very sweet deal. Hopefully you've already bought it. If nothing else, at least for a back up.

they had some good looking mowers at costco last year, honda engines, stainless decks, under $300.00 in Canada ,probably $50.00 in the states .They had some honda trimmers as well if I remember correctly .I dont know who was setting them up,or who you need to see about warranty but you can always return it to Costco .

I haven't bought it yet but i am pretty sure i will. It isn't going any where so. Do you think i should take it to a repair shop and get them to look at it and see if anything is wrong with it before i buy it?

Check the oil (level and color), air filter, blade, pull the spark plug and check the condition. Start it up, look, listen and feel. Look for smoke, listen for knocks, pings or anything not right, and finally feel for vibration. If everything checks out you're good to go. If not offer a lower price or walk. 2 jobs and it's paid for anyway.
Good luck what ever you decide.
