Default Lawn care estimate in the middle of winter ???

I got an e-mail today from a previous client i had on call basis when i was on the road one time stopped me and asked if I could do his lawn. Got it done and everything. I was now going when he called me because I told him i was in his area just up the street on Mondays.

Anyways, I open up my e-mail today, in the dead middle of winter, where we have like 3 or 4 feet of snow and he's asking me if I can give him a price for a lawn care estimate for 2x a month..........

Lawn care business tips
If it was a property you have not already done, I look it up on bing maps just to get an idea of the size of it. Bing maps allows you to see all sides of the house in Birds eye view. Not as good as being able to walk the property though.

WOW I always used google maps for earth view, but Bing maps zooms in much better. Thanks for this.

From your post, haven't you cut the lawn 2x already? If so, what is the issue? You obviously did not cut it for free. Maybe I don't understand the question?

Sorry, still don't see the problem. I get calls like this for deck staining that I can not do until spring. I give them the quote and then schedule them for spring. Knowing that you have work on the books is a lot easier on your mental state than wondering when you will find work.
