How to use the free logo design templates available on the forum

What do you do once you find a logo design you like from the logo design templates available on the forum? In other words, how do I put our business name and slogan on the image design? Is there certain software I should use? Will any of the Microsoft Suite (i.e. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint) programs work? Thanks!!

You can open the logo you like, then once it opens, right click on it choose copy then you can paste in into any editing program you have. I use printshop then save it as a jpeg when I am finished.

You might be able to use some of those Microsoft programs, however because this is more of a graphical need, you will probably want to use a graphics program.

Maybe something like Adobe Photoshop or something similar.
