Yes, I updated it YET AGAIN! LOL....

I still have a few things to do before next season - I'm pretty good with flash scripting and animation, though I have to get my program installed.

I kind of decided to have a "robot" mascot, I put up a rough draft picture just now which will later be an entire inf loop animation give or take.

Flash CS5 gives you so much, so the design and look of everything should have some realism.

ANYWAY - so I tweaked my site a bit more & I'm looking for comments.

As for the home page music, it will be fitting once I get some animations done to go with it- you'll like it at that time.

Eventually I will have him moving around the site, advertising, and teaching visitors proper care for their lawns etc...

OK I will be the first to comment.

1. That spinning thing on the home page with your number will not cut it for consumers. My opinion.... It sucks.

2. Your site will never rank. do you know what key words you are looking to target? The only thing I could find was lawn maintenance. Not one time on your services page did I find lawn mowing. I even looked through the HTML code for the page and could not find it.

Flash is nice but sometimes you can go overboard. It also does not help your SEO rankings.

Rule of thumb for web site building is ....

1. build for your consumer. Make it easy for them to find info and give them lots of it. Keep it simple.

2. Build for Google. Most make the mistake of building this way first.

Right now you have a 6 page web site with no information about lawn care except your pricing. Information means key words and keywords are what rank your site.

Key words you should target are ones like

lawn maintenance Montreal
lawn care Montreal
lawn mowing Montreal

Add the city there because you don't care if you rank in Edmonton or Vancouver

Hope this helps.

By the way you have no meta data on the pages other than the title. No description or keywords.

I agree with the spinning blade, I made it in 5 minutes put it on and passed out. LOL (last post at 4:30am) - it makes me pretty dizzy, gonna replace it with what it was. (Still testing things out)

I have all the features to get my site noticed & hundreds of credits to promote it. Though I don't want to get all into that right now.

Because I might actually change my pricing - and I wouldn't want people to know what's on my site just yet, you know what I mean?

Right now my site to me "doesn't exist" it's gotta be better first.

I should have mentioned this earlier lol - my bad!

Anything else as of now?

Scott,

I just love your creativity. I think as you explore you are going to hit on something big.

Your new logo has a feel of like an affliction design. It might look pretty cool on a tshirt.

As I grow I want to be able to do even more jobs.

My idea is, everyone who is hired by me has their own specific tasks to do, a branch of departments.

Scott: Lawn Maintenance, Office
Batman: Lawn Maintenance, Hedge Trimming, Gutters
Superman: Lawn Maintenance, Garden Maintenance, Fertilizer - etc

Know what I mean?

All the lawns get done, and when everyone has free time - they can do their personal tasks in their department.

Then I whichever person increases their departments customers, we hire for that department specifically.

I love this idea and I'm going to see it through.

Instead of bunching people together and torturing them do to something new every day - get them used to one thing so they master it... /// Of course they will all have the skills to switch departments during emergencies.

Personally, alone It's very difficult to manage every service and it's nothing but a hassle.

Hiring people is going to be a lot easier!

Glad you like the logo, it's all so extreme for a lawn company - but that's me! lol

Ummm... I love large breasts, but I wouldn't randomly throw animated boobies on a lawn care website just because I like them.
In advertising (and that is what we are doing here, right?), everything should be there for a reason. If there is no good reason for an image, color, block of text... get rid of it.

I couldn't even tell what it was, and the movements made it painful to view. I don't even recall anything else about that page because I had to close the window after about 10 seconds.

That said, removing the lightning was a step in the right direction.

You told alot about what you will do how about what you have done that might help prospective customers make the right decision and chose you. I feel your site at first glance isn't for you more for ad revenue which will turn people off sell your business not someone else.

I do like your logo, but I do agree your site might be a little extreme for your customers.

And are you sure you want to sell advertising on your site? first off why should I pay to be listed on your site until you get a lot of traffic. Second what if your customer does not like a business on your site, it could reflect bad upon you. And third if your business is doing so well why would you need to sell advertising on your company website.

I just think it is a bad idea, but that is just me.

Also the attack chopper gave me a headache trying to read it, you might make that more defined.

... I actually thought of doing that *cough*

We've all seen that "Evony" ad, some sort of online game. Though when I saw that they put some boobs put on their game ads, I was kind of curious to click, wondering why they'd do that - now I know. Boobs sell!

I should customize my paypal button and put a nice rack instead, "Pay the **** Now"

As for my site being too much for what it is - I like to follow my dreams lol.

I like to take advantage of what I'm given, a website - mind as well cater to the community a little bit.

********

ALSO, the look of the content varies on different computers. For me, everything is clear and easy to see - though I have tested this theory and will figure something out.
