Default havent started yet!!

New guy here and im not in business yet and i was wondering if some one can help me out...... is it expensive to start up a landscaping business (i have the equipment) just in state fees and town fees i know its different every where just giving me ballpark estimates would help.......Is anyone from CT on here that would be even better.....thanks for the help

Does your town even require you to pay any fees? They may not.

As far as the state goes, you shouldn't need a license for mowing.

I am glad I was able to help.

If you decide to go with your name as your business name, you shouldnt have to register a business name then and that could help keep your start up costs to next to nothing.

You can have customers make the checks payable to you and use your current bank account.

As a sole proprietorship, i run under my Initials "MAK" and all checks come in under my name . Drop the puppies in the bank, slide the business income to the business account i have seperate savings for... Rainy Day Money...
