Default Ryobi 875r outer spool

Im trying to change the head on my Ryobi 875r gas trimmer to a brush/heavy grass head but haven't had any luck on trying to figure out how to remove the outer spool so i can expose the shaft so i can put the new head on. I know there should be a hole in the nut above the outer spool (see pic) that would hold the shaft so i could just screw it off but i cant find the hole! Please help with any advice. Thanks!

Do you have a pic of the new head? Maybe we can see where it attaches and go from there?

Default This worked for me

I took a smaller allen wrench and put it into the opening that would expose that hole, and turned the head until it finally pushed in and held it in place. It is a reverse thread on mine, mine is a 780 BR. Hope this helps.
