Stripes!

Playin around in my backyard and decided on doing this design. I didn't finish the design because while I was mowing, I noticed that my keys had apparently fallen out of my pocket, and that prompted a foot search for my keys that I still haven't found. Anyway, thought it looked cool.

Lawn care business tips

Nifty. That's a lot of extra work around the edges though. I don't use a roller or stripe kit so if I go over it again it usually erases the previous stripe and replaces it with the new direction.

ummm it didn't take that much longer than a regular double cut. Thats all this design is.

How do you come up with your different stripe pattern ideas?

I have a book that is about striping, so some of my ideas come from that, but most of the time I just start mowing and do the design as it comes to me.

that looks beautiful! what kinda mower are you using?

im using an ariens 1742 ZTR. i attached some thick pieces of rubber to the back of the deck that sweep over the grass so make it lay over and create the stripes.
