How big is interior landscaping in your area? Do you know of any companies that offer this service? Have you ever considered it?

Green machine revs business - They send a message of success. They attract clients. They even increase morale and productivity.

Ah, what a few green plants can do for business.

If clothes make the man, as the saying goes, plants make the workplace. They welcome shoppers, corporate visitors and even patients calling on doctors.

"Aesthetics is part of the appeal, but there also are health benefits," said Bruce Peterson, vice president of Initial Tropical Plants' area headquarters in Pine Brook, N.J. "We want to help businesses with their business and improve the work environment."
However, companies need to know what they're getting into, because maintenance is a must. Plants that aren't cared for can easily wither or quickly give harbor to insects. The business owner who picks up plants at a nursery should be prepared to make rounds with the watering can, or find a subordinate who will.

Bigger businesses often outsource their plant maintenance
