Business sign in neighborhood sparks complaints - City officials ordered Matt Searles, owner of Searles Small Engine Service, to remove a sign because it's in a residentially zoned area. The shop is on East Fillmore just east of State in the southeastern-most section of the city.
Searles, 21, says city workers initially told him the property was zoned R-4; he later discovered it was R-1.
