bamboo does the same thing..thats a pain in the arse to remove..just dig it out and make sure theres not roots anywhere..that or you can try the newspaper..i heard that works well but it is possible to grow through..i guess it depends on your area..

Ur right once a month to be sure. Ive heard about that bamboo being a real mess JK.

it will grow thru anything, even concrete. You have to get all the roots out for that stuff.
