Hi my leaf blower took a turn for the worst any sugestions on what to get I had a blower vac what do you use

Stay away from Homelite. A good leaf blower is worth every penny you spend. I would recommend Echo for a mid priced good unit.

Stihl BR550 have three, BR600 have four, never an issue

1st i see the mph on the ecos seem to have a lower range than say a craftsman
also what mph would you recomend as the one i had was a craftsman and was like 220 mph I want a better unit as I am using it alot more and I dont feel the craftsman will hold up

I won't buy anything other than an echo blower. If you're purchasing a back pack blower, make sure your (or whoever is using it) hair is tied up good. Your hair WILL get stuck in them, and it's a pain in the head to get out.

dont focus on the mph so much as you should cfm's

you have have a blower that blows out 220 but if it dosnt have a good cfm number your gonna have to do 2 to 3 times as many passes
cfm=cubic feet per minute by the way

youll shoot it far but the line will be straight..it wont spread..
