got home from school layed around till 5 walked out with flyers.. handed out almost all of them (so just short of 1000) talked to 10 people personally and landed about 6 of the 10 jobs for sure the others ill go back to if they dont call its8:00 now..my ankles are killing and my hands are numb but i just cant wait to get all the calls coming in tomorrow

Not yet. Still acuiring equipment and have to do all things to be legit.

are you planning on starting this season? you must be starting late if so..
im running with a decent home weedwacker from lowes..maybe menards..
i think its menards actually..
and a craftsman 21" push..
dont even have a blower for drives..using 2 diff bristled push brooms..
good backpack vac is the first thing ill be purchasing for the company this season..
im splitting profits 40% company 30% me and partner
next season probly
30% company
35% me and partner..
need the extra kick to get started..but looks like this season will be very promising

That sounds good. I plan on starting in the next couple weeks. I hope it isnt too late. I will be keeping my fulltime job as well for now. I was looking at craftsman 21" commercial mower. Big power, self propelled, and it has the front casters like the big walk behinds. $500.

thatd be great to start in my opinion..i would never jump into getting a commercial mower..not until i had a sold client base

and thanks steve..im already trying to design attractive flyers for neighbors..you might have seen my last thread,,i wasnt thinking to clearly yesterday ahah
