Lawn care business tips

I think there are some sites that offer free hosting and then you could download a template, edit it and use that. From time to time we see some giveaways with different companies hosting different things. Does anyone else remember this discussion? Or how it came up initially?

You can set up a Wordpress blog for free at www.wordpress.com. Blogger is similar I think.

The Wordpress blog system can make web pages too so it is useful for simple websites. Zillions of themes are available to get a good style for your site. Plenty of plug-ins are available for shopping carts, comment forms, etc.

What would you be basing this on? Are you going to build it from scratch?

Is it easy to have a username and password for my clients on my website, (maybe to see/pay their bill) similar to http://www.gopherforum.com/showthread.php?t=7218 (web template-10.zip) And could you assist me in putting this type of feature on my site?

I noticed you have this on the web template. I figured it is an add on or feature...

OH ok I know what you mean now. With the username and password, you need a lot of back end programming. Some people can do that with ease while others don't know much about that stuff.

You will need a database account on your webserver. Did you see the post for lawnmail?
