My assistant is back with me to start the new season. I wasn't going to hand out flyers this year, as they really are a hassle. I handed out a few to certain areas only. Anyway, I've seen flyers come in from other companies & I need to keep ahead of the game. I mind as well give advertising another shot! My assistant & myself have been writing our bids on the back side of all of our business cards, - we're still doing it. I pulled out a delivery route that I had created a long time ago, & it consist of every street on my island. This route took me months to create, & now it's finally ready, *evil laugh*. We are going in two separate groups of 3 people, 6 people in total. We will be starting our run this Sunday. Every person will have a clipboard & paper for notes, & they will be wearing a company shirt. If it's cold, too damn bad. They will have to move faster to stay warm. Rain or shine, or a damn blizzard, we're going out. Whatever it takes!

Last year you hit your area HARD with flyers.

Looking back at that now, what do you think you learned from that experience and how is it going to help you this year?

Last year I made a few mistakes. I gave out my starting price for the entire season, when I should have just put the monthly price. It scared away a few people, being a big number. I used maybe two different flyers last year, & this year I'll hand out as many as I can design.

I thought what I did last year was hardcore, but this year I don't want to stop pushing. If one batch of flyers don't bring me any customers, people should expect a new one arriving in due time. I have to pretend that EVERYONE wants to be a Breeze customer, that they just have to see the right advertisement. I will adjust my perks towards their property, that they'd be crazy not to hire me

I wont be giving up, or saying, "next year I'll do better"...

If I don't get my desired return calls, I'll create a route for the next city over. I'm going to have my assistant work on advertising all season. If I have to move, I'll do so.

I don't know any other way to put it, I'm going to grow large this season, no excuses.

I'll keep all of you updated, & I'll post some pictures on what I'm working on a.s.a.p.

Well if my competitors were wise, they would enjoy the luxuries of this forum, & they'd be able to see everything I write.

I'm an open book in the real world, but I gotta remember the business has more to lose than I do, LOL. Does that make any sense? Probably not.

But yeah, the less my competition knows about me, the better off I am. I consider this forum a place to get away from it all. Though I keep forgetting it's available to anyone & everyone.
