Hi my name is Curtis and i'm 29. I am wanting to start a lawn mowing buisness this spring. I cut a few friends yards but nothing more than that. I have always had an intrest in this because I love the outdoors. I am a teacher and am looking to start this so that I can help pay off my large amount of student loans. I have been trying to read as much as i can but I seem stuck on what to do to obtain some regular customers. I've never run a buisness so I feel very uncomfortable starting this. Thats probably why I haven't started it yet. Thanks for having me on the forum and I look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Hi Curtis, Welcome to our forum! If you are cutting the lawns of some of your friends, it sounds like you already know how to get customers! Good for you! Are you handing out business cards to people you know? What about the neighbors of your friends' houses? Keep up what you are doing and branch it out. Expand the circle of those you reach out to.
