My names Kyle and I'm 17. I'm fairly new coming into the lawn care business, although Ive been mowing since I was about 12 and absolutely fell in love. Only have about 9 customers on hand, 2 consisting of commercial properties. Just looking for some suggestions and a ill probably be posting a few questions here and there.

In previous discussions we have had teens talk about the difficulty of gaining commercial customers.

Have you found this to be tough as well? How did you overcome it?

Kyle,

Im 17 as well, had 16 weekly's last summer. I looked at contracting with 3 commercial properties, all owned by the same owner, but chose not to do so because of not being insured. How have you battled this? Do you have liability? Are you licensed?

racerdude, I'm not insured either. My dad owns a home building company and hooked me up with two of his trade partners. I also work with 2 realtors in the area and service foreclosed houses that are being sat on by the local banks.
