These are some of the things we always preach. Start small. Take it step by step. Once you get customers to bite at what you are offering move forward.

Here is a list of 10 things you should be considering. Check out the article. It goes into a deeper discussion on each step.

Can you think of anything not included in this list that you have found to be important?

10 Ways to Grow Your Homebased Business - Small is beautiful.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Inch by inch, row by row, that's the way my garden grows.

1. Focus on a single product or service, and then market it, sell it, promote itódo everything you can to increase sales of that one product or service.

2. Expand your product line to offer complementary products or services.

3. Find ways to increase sales to your existing customers.

4. Hire someone to help you outóan employee, a freelancer, an intern, an independent contractor, even your kids.

5. Create a Web site to advertise your company or sell products online.

6. Join forces with another business to promote your company.

7. Target other markets.

8. Find new and different ways to market your business through e-mail newsletters or by doing guest-speaking gigs or by teaching a class.

9. Expand to another location.
