Question Scag turf runner or gravely zt2350?

Any information on either mower would be greatly appreciated. I plan to trade my quad for a zero turn, and these are the offers I've had. A mid 90's turf runner with the hopper on back, or the Gravely 2350. I will be mowing residential for awhile (or so I expect). I don't know how well the scag would do having the hopper, but the guy told me the gravely is a mid range mower. The scag has approximately 1200 hrs, the gravely is said to have about 60. Any known problems, bonuses to either mower? Thanks

This is my dilemma as well as many others. With most residential customers. If they have a gated yard, you need a mower that can pass thru. The only mowers i know that can are either are a 32 inch deck or a 36 inch deck. So for now i am sticking with a push mowers for the smaller yards.

The scag is a 48", and the gravely is a 50". I was planning to get a push mower for back yards, the main thing I was wondering is if 1250 hours is a lot for a commercial mower, or if the gravely would hold up? Thanks

I would think you could get 2,000 + hours on the mower potentially without any major work done on it?

So, I didn't go with either option, I was on my way to trade the fourwheeler, and to make a long story short- had trailer problems on the way. The next day I told one of my buddies thats into lawn care that I was looking for a mower, and he sent me to a guy that had 48", and 32" scag walk behinds. They are both belt driven with kawasaki engines. The guy was interested in a truck that was sitting in my yard. I had no use for the s10 since I just bought a full size, and two days later I have two used scags- I guess everything happens for a reason...
