Default Organic Lawn Restoration

I'm starting my 19th year of organic lawn restoration.
I do not mow, trim, clean up, or any of the many things most landscapers do.
I concentrate exclusively in Lawn (yard) restoration and follow up fertlilizing.
I started in New England where there is the worst soil and weather conditions possible.

Now I am in Northern California where the season never ends. I did a restoration near San Fran a few days after Christmas and the customer is thrilled that what was a yard of weeds and dirt is now a plush carpet of grass in just 6 weeks.
With my website I have people all over the country and Canada send me pics of their yard and I sell them detailed customized instructions and the materials to do their own lawns.

These customers are always asking me if I can reccomend someone to mow, trim, prune etc.
So maybe we can refer each other.
Also, if we are not in direct competition with each other, for instance, if you do strictly mowing or aeration or stone walls, and not what I do, let's exchange links to each others sites. This helps our websites get on page one instead of page 1000 of peoples searches.

So check out my website. See the many before/after pics of my work and letters of reccomondation I have earned and determine if you would like to put a link to each others website on ours.

Lawn care business tips
Do you have any experience with the sandy soil we have down here in Florida? Also with ST.Augestein and Bahia grasses that we have down here?

Seems Florida is different than any other state out there...

Yes extreem I do. New England is also very sandy. Mostly because when they build, they remove all the top soil pre construction and when they finish building they put a bunch of sandy rocky soil to replace. Who knows why.

Thanks for the welcome Steve.
I most often access the net via blackberry and have no way to copy/paste the reply I emailed you.
If you want to post it on my behalf you are welcome.
This forum has a lot of features and is difficult to navigate. Especially from phone.
I imagine it will get easier as I get familiar with it.

Throughout your years have you experimented with much marketing? Have you found marketing ideas that have worked and others that didnt? What stands out in your mind?

I am not sure what you mean by marketing, Steve.
Back East I advertized in town papoers delivered to homeowners.
Here it is very pricey. I am basically using my website.

I am looking for someone to help me with putting keywods in my html on my home page and sub pages.
I understand there is something about meta tags I should address, whatever they are. Then I want to creat sub sub pages. For instance. On the link, or tab that says pests, I want several tabs where I can list individual insects, write about them and put keywords in their html.
I have been told that having many pages with lots of relevant text helps rankings. A couple of my pages are long and maybe I should break them up with tabs that say continue, back, homepage, contact us.

I also read about links in the text that lead to other pages.

I do not know what line and quite how to put keywords in my html.

I know I have a quality product and a rather unique "nitch" as you said. Many people want what I have to offer, which is an organic yard that is of higher quality than a chemical yard.

The trick is to make it so they can find me. Google adwords can be pricey with people clicking when looking for things I do not offer. They don't let ya say a whole lot in the ads.

Have you considered using wordpress from wordpress.org

It is blog software but you could potentially use that as a website template and it would help with a lot of these issues.
