2010 Marketing Question

This is my 1st year expanding quite a bit. To help promote my services, I was thinking about having a Easter egg hunt. Since Easter is right around the time my season kicks off. I was thinking of have a couple of events besides the hunt: coloring contest, face painting, and maybe pictures with the Easter bunny. For the parents I was thinking of having a drawing for some type of free service. What do you guys think about this plan? Calvin

Lawn care business tips

Thats an awesome idea. I have seen simliar posts on here for events like that. Other thigns i have seen are pumkin carving, xmas tree ornament making for the kids and their parents come and see your sign as they drive up and think highly of you for treating them as people too and not just the person they pay to have a service done. people like someone they can chat with. Just limit the chating while ur actually working. lol. unless your being paid more to talk instead of mow.

Could you get an easter bunny suit and have it set up where the kids could have their picture taken with the easter bunny?

Also, where were you thinking of having this? At your home, office, local store? local park? Where?

I would more than likely have it at a local park, where I am friends with the grounds keeper. I would take a picture and then send it in the mail with a promotional brochure.

If you are gonna do it at a park, why not get a few businesses in the area and really do it up and promote it in the paper!

You could have a big turn out for something like this!

It could be a blast!
