I think I may have been scammed please read

First off I would like to tell the story and hopefully this hasn't happened to any other members on the forum. About 2 months ago a member on the forum was selling products under this forum promote business products. This member ran a sell on yards signs or any type of sign you wanted for your Lawn Care business. I called him up his name was Jason and his business name was signs and designs. So I called him and talked to him for awhile about the deal he was running for 10 plastic yard signs for forum members. His business seems to be legit and he told me he could do what I wanted which was the ten sign deal and have them match my previous signs. So he told me he was going to get to work and have them out in a couple of weeks. So about three weeks later I give him a call let him know I haven't received the signs so he told me he would check up with ups and see where they were at. I called him again a few days later and he told me ups had lost them and that they were shown to be a the store. So he told me he would remake the signs and have them to me in a few weeks. So then 3 more weeks went by and I had emailed him and no response on email so I decided I better call him, so I did and he said there done ill have them to you by this saturday and when I send them ill give you the tracking number. Saturday came still no signs and no tracking number so I waited a few more days and on that following Wensday I called him didn't pick up since then ive called him 4 more times and sent two emails no response no call back. So he is obviously ignoring my calls and emails. So im writing this post so that no one else gets ripped off by this guy and also has anyone else done business with him and is he usually like this. The business is Signs and Designs in Indiana and his name is Jason Cox.

Depending on the form of payment you may be able to recoup the charges by going to your bank. I have had to do this in the past.

But what about if you used paypal thats what I used and they have a 45 day limit type deal. Would this still work even if I went to the bank even though it was paypal.

Wow, just reading that made me angry! I wonder, does he have a website? I'd be very interested in seeing it.

That's a very cold move he did, I hope karma meets him face to face.

I'd check it out with your bank right away, there might be some TOS b.s if you wait too long.

If you get out of this, please explain how. Everyone here can benefit from your experience, I use paypal & I'm sure many of us here do!

No he doesn't have a website. I had asked him that before when I was talking to him hes got a user name on here signs and designs. If you check you wanna check it out its on this same forum. But yeah its cold im pretty pissed myself just the thought of someone thinking they could take someone else's money just isn't right. And is very poor customer service. But im going to try my bank see what they can do for me anyone else have any other thoughts would be very appreciated. Thanks

Well yesterday I went to the bank told them what had happened. I tried paypal but I was over the 45 day time limit. I can talk to them again but im waiting to see what happens with the bank but the bank basically said your going to get your signs or your money so im starting to relax a little more. But what a pain.

Thats not even right. The guy should be banned and called out.
Breeze is right even for the little bit of money he did get isnt even worth the effect Karma has in store. Karma is ten fold. Hope he enjoys his ride!

Well its been a little while since ive been on here. Its been about 2 months since a reported this scam to my bank. Yesterday I received a letter from my bank with the full amount back. The guy couldn't prove anything so I got my full amount back very glad about that. So I figured that I would give a little update. If something like this happens to you just go to your bank and sit down and talk with them. They will figure a solution.
