Business Cards!!!

I got my last batch of cards from "Staples" aka "Bureau en Gros" (french) I got a quick batch of 500 cards for $20.00. Now they want like, $50.00 for 250 cards. Not a very good deal lol. Vista print doesn't do anything for me either, I don't like the price or the look of the cards. Anyone have another online company I can check out?

That is a good question Scott. I think I will order some magnetic signs soon from Signs and Designs. Once I get the signs I think I will probably try to get some cards made with the same design. This will help give me a more professional appearance by having matching promotional items. I'll be watching this thread for ideas.

I was just Talking to Pat about this today!

I will always buy my cards from the local printer, because the local printer can help you with your business. If someone need yard work done, your local printed will send you the business.

An Online company will not care about you!

Yes you may pay a little more, but you will benefit by it in the long run!

I sold my local printer a house. Ya!!

Those are some interesting ideas. I may have to get creative on that though but that is a great idea for landscapers/lawn care professionals. I may be able to work out a deal to service their mower in the spring or something? I'll have to work on that. I need more business cards anyway..... hmmmm

I was actually thinking of just getting a few professional sticky pads made.

Like a pretty background, my logo & contact information & a ton of space to write notes or whatever I need to let the customer know.

I could give estimates and just sticky them onto their doors or something.

Though, nothing beats a good ol' business card... hmmm...

I want to find a cheaper price, I don't want to flip out every time a business card gets wet or tears, I mean dang.. One day it'll be a $1 a card lol...

Scott that is a great idea! I think especially for a lawn care business, you could say, hey, I can give you an estimate right now and write it on the sticky note. Then they can take it and stick it on their fridge or where ever so they don't loose it.

You gotta think creative sometimes!
