We only use clients water and yes it is fine, use Simple Green which you can get from Home Depot for the wash, man it works well. an average well will generalt 4.5 GPM so you are good to go, city water, no problem at all.

2,750 is excellent for vinal siding but light for decks however you can get around that buy buying a Turbo tip, they are around $80.00 and buddy they are worth their weight in gold.

As for pricing, we quote the job, we get anywhere from $65.00 to $90.00 an hour gross.

Smile Pressure Washing

I really want to thank you for your input, but the washer that I have has several different tips that is connected to a little piece of grommet rubber. Is there any way for me to identify one of these tips as a Turbo Tip?

I think Andy is referring to a brand of tips. Turbo tip is made by Cam Spray and looks like this.

The turbo tip is actually made by more than one company, in various formations. They vary in pressure from 2400 max psi and up. Of course you can not achieve higher pressure than your washer is capable of. These tips' list prices vary from about $75 to over $200, depending what pressure rating you need and what brand you purchase. I can currently get the 2400 psi unit and ship it for about $75, shipping included (list $87.18).

The 2900 max psi unit would be about $103 (list $130.02), the 3625 max psi would be about $150 (lists for $172.38), and the 4500 max psi unit would be $190 (lists for $239.71). All of these prices are with shipping included. These prices are rock bottom prices especially for Gopherforum members. When ordering, please mention this post to get the discounted prices.

These are all from Oregon. Oregon is a leading supplier of power equipment parts and has been in the forestry/power equipment business for over 60 years and have a track record of providing top of the line products and parts.

Let me know if you need any of these.

And regarding the nozzles on the grommet stripe, those are typically different angle nozzles.

These are the typical angles:

red=0 degrees
yellow=15 degrees
green=25 degrees
white=40 degrees,
black=soap nozzles, possibly in varying degrees. I can get the soap nozzle in 25, 50, and 65 degrees, in varying nozzle sizes...

now some of the nozzles do not have colors associated but if they do, these are quick indexing colors.
