Default Hello From Sioux Falls South Dakota

I just started this business a couple of months ago, i was tired of making everyone money for my labor. So here I am lost and confused, but Iam trying. My biggest problem is how do i bid on a snow plow contract? I have the lawn care down pat. But the snow, do i charge them everytime i go out, becouse sometimes i would think that i will have to do it a couple of times with in a 72 hour snow fall, I tried the snow plow calculator but got confused

Because there are a lot of readers probably going through the same thing you are going through, could you tell us a little about the lost and confused feelings with your business?

There is a lot of discussions on this topic but a few of the articles I'd like to point out:

How to charge for snow plowing.

Snow plow estimate calculator.

How to price residential snow plowing jobs.

And yet even more info here

The confused part is the snow plow, like per push what does that mean? how do i know how long it will take me to plow a driveway or snow blow a sidewalk. The lawn care part i think i got " the calculator helps" for the mowing a lawn but the snow calculator i just dont know. I have a F250 truck with a plow, a snow blower, and a shovel, thats all. do you think i will need more? Bidding is my biggest problem in the business But i have looked at some exsamples that you posted and that helped

Technically the 'per push' term would refer to plowing the driveway once. (Pushing the snow)

During a storm you may need to plow the site multiple times.

There are a couple of examples of what it would take others to do similar jobs but ultimately you will learn how long it will take you by experimenting.

You sound like you are all set.

keep us posted on how everything goes.
