Toro walk behind transmissions

I've got belt driven walk behinds that have bad transmissions (sheath moves on the input shaft) where can I find a rebuild kit for these transmissions?

I would just replace the whole tranny. rebuilding them seems to be a pain in the a$$. It takes about 2 hours to replace on if you dont know what your doing once you get comfertable with it you can do it in about 45 min.

What is the model number of the transmission? Is it a Peerless 700 series? There are a lot of parts in there.

I scavenged one off of my old blown up Toro and it now resides on my new Toro. It seems to be much longer lasting than the new one that came on my new Toro.

I pulled the trans off one of my other toros that is waiting on a new wiring harness (figured I'd put the new transmission on the better mower) after taking a known good transmission and putting it on this machine. it still pulls sluggish especially going up hill, and turning. is there a way to adjust the drive belt under the mower? Idler arm is snug, belt seems snug when its off..... I'm running out of ideas unless the pulley on the motor is to big?
