I am having a hard time getting clients this time of year. I want to offer eaves clean out services and tree pruning service. But what should I charge and how to go about geeting customers interested in my service???

I suppose it depends on your set up and how you plan on doing the leaf removal service. If you are bagging the leaves, you can charge per bag filled. Some people will take what they charge a client per month for lawn maintenance and multiply that price by two or even three. I don't agree to this method, as some lawns that are charged less for being small can actually have more leaves then bigger yards. You can also charge per hour, but this can get technical. The client will be on your case if he/she is home. **- The best method is to figure out what your competitors are charging, and see if you are capable of providing the same price while covering your own expenses. If you are lacking in equipment, it makes sense to charge more because you would be taking more time - unfortunately, clients would much rather choose your competitor if that is the case. ********************** To go about getting clients, take a drive around and look out for people with leaves on their property who could actually use the service. Don't forget to leave your info with them, so that they can call you for lawn maintenance! :P

Are you talking about cleaning out gutters that are full of leaves?

We see on average the members here charge about $1 per linear ft of gutter. More if they are difficult to get to.
