Default Broke

So I just emptied my bank accounts to buy out the truck I had leased.

I now have about $80.00 to manage, HAHAHA!

In about 5 days (August) I will be able to deposit my customers checks - though I will be enjoying cigarettes for breakfast lunch and dinner for awhile until I can live right again.

Life is now very interesting.

************

I will now check my online banking balances, and cry. LOL!!!

Lawn care business tips
How does it feel to own the truck now?

What was your view on the lease process? Would you lease a truck again in the future or no?

It feels good to own it now, but I will suffer for some time.

At least I don't have to keep throwing money at the truck anymore, haha!

Eventually with growth, I would most certainly be leasing another Ford just to get a crew out there on their own without me. Making big progress!

What's the difference in cost between leasing and renting such a vehicle when you factor in all the upfront costs and whatever other hidden fees that are included (potentially like having the dealership service certain things at certain times)?

You are screwed either way, a vehicle will always cost an arm and a leg. lol.

It costs less to lease than it is to rent, and you can always give the lease away. A lot of people would be interested in paying the difference and taking the truck off my hands, it being a Ford Lariat. Also, the truck depreciates so it ends up cheaper by the time you get to decide to buy it or not.

It's a long commitment, but it's worth it to lease. Renting is throwing money away, depending on where you live I suppose.

Would your next truck be a new or used one?

It would be new, but it wouldn't be as expensive as the truck I have now.

I'd probably just get a "Ford Ranger" or something. I'm sure they can haul more than enough weight required to run a lawn maintenance company.

I'd like to have a fleet of them one day, that'd be awesome!

********-

I was going to get a Ford Ranger, I don't remember why I changed my mind? I normally disapprove of vehicles without AWD, but I don't think that was the case!

Without AWD your vehicle is useless where I live come winter. Scary!

Ford is pretty inexpensive compared to it's competition.

The level of comfort is outstanding, on every model. It's very easy to adapt to a Ford compared to driving other trucks. With Dodge you'll always feel like a midget trying to see over the Dash.

Dodge = +1 looks, -1 steering, -1 visibility, -1 gas, etc...
Chevy = don't like the look
GMC = seems too generic
Toyota = Generic and cheap, 1 nice looking truck
Nissan = same as Toyota
Ford = Everything+
