Does anybody know enough about the Google +1 button to know if it has any impact on page rank on searches? http://www.google.com/+1/button/

I have been using the + 1 button on my website for awhile, I haven't noticed much difference. It's free and can't hurt it none so I'll keep it.

If it works as well as "Google Places", it's worthless.

Hint: Google Places is not as simple as they make it sound and if you have technical problems they have no support - none - zero - nada - you're on your own, kid.

Aside from my less than stellar experience with Google Places, I have no experience with this, nor am I inclined to use Google for anything but searching the web.

It seems to me that this feature is going to be used in conjunction with people's google accounts.

Now I don't think most people have a google account.

This may take off in the future, but right now it seems like it is in it's infancy and because of that, I don't know how useful it is.
