Lawn Edging

Biding on my first Lawn Reno This lawn is in BAD shape Many years of abuse and neglect from previous owner. I have a handle on most everything but the Edging. I have approx 300 ft of Edging to establish. I usually charge $1.00 ft but this is going to be a lot of extra work. How much are you charging for Establishing Edging? Graham

Lawn care business tips

When you say "edging", do you mean along a sidewalk/driveway, or the edges of flowerbeds? (or both) I don't know how to help with your pricing question, but thought I'd bump this since I'm not getting any help in my "edging" thread.

Is this going to be for a customer that is signing up for annual lawn care or is this going to be a one time lawn renovation job?

That could play a factor in how you bid the job.

This is for all edging Walkways driveways as well as Flower beds
This will most likely be a one time Job but I am working on getting the mowing after the grass comes in.

I would think for the one-time job, you are probably gonna want to make sure you are billing for the entire time you spend there. If this was prep work for an annual customer, it might not matter as much, billing for all the time as you would be making money from them throughout the year.

How much extra time are you thinking will be involved with this job?
