Weeds in Flowerbeds

A customer i recently gave an estimate to asked me what we could put down in the flowerbed to get rid of the weeds she said " surley there is something we can put down except for Weed - B -Gone!" Any suggestions?

Here is what we have done on some of our mulch installs http://www.homedepot.com/Easy-Garden...atalogId=10053 You can also use PREEN. The PREEN is put down under the mulch layer after the weeding has been done.

I use Weed B Gone for everything. kills slow though.
After I mulch I put down weed tarp
Never used PREEN, does it work?

PREEN works fine, but as many "weed killers" monitoring is a must.

Snapshot is a better weed pre emergent than preen that is commercial grade not home depot grade
