The problem with most, if not all, of the free website builders is that they have limits placed on them. My very first site was a google site and it was pretty good for what it was but it too had it's limits. For instance, I could not put a paypal button on the site at all as they wanted you to use Google checkout. You have to use their templates and there is no way to manipulate the HTML code if you need to on most of them. Wix in particular I have a problem with because of the crap they put in front of your web site that slows down the loading. It very well could be. There are so many ways to do a photo gallery. My personal preference is wordpress, wonderful platform for displaying your work.

yeah i might need something more advance i will have to take a few weekends to learn how to do it unless i can find some good templates

If it is a new site it can take up to a week. If it is a redo of an existing site usually one or 2 days. This is because most of the content is already written on the old site. I don't have to search and rewrite it from scratch.

The last one I did was HorizonStainandSeal.com, that one I did in 4 days.

A lot of sites use wordpress as it is easier to setup then some others I just like Joomla as it is more powerful then wordpress. But I am also going away from that for more online store capibilities with Magento. I think the only thing about Joomla and Wordpress is they seo that people do not seem to do right.

I am in the process of custom designing wordpress themes and learning how to work Drupal. I heard it was better than Joomla and harder to learn. I have looked at both and I am finding Drupal not bad at all.

I disagree with the fact Drupal is more powerful they are both PHP and database sites with modules. But I would also say it is just as good as Joomla, and it does do seo out of the box where joomla you have to install modules and configure it to do well on google search. Joomla has ssl and I needed that to take credit cards at the time. I have since just gone to paypal and google checkout for simplicity.
