Lawn trailer modifications

I got the steel from a steel supply house outside of Winder GA. At home I cover the mowers with a tarp. I plan to keep a small tarp with me so I can cover the cage up if I need to during the day. But a big tarp to cover the mowers when out cutting lawns would get cumbersome I think.

Lawn care business tips

Well guys, at the dealership, the mowers sit outside in a chained in area, the commercial ones do anyhow, and they should be able to take the rain. I put mine outside my shop whhen its baout to rain so i can wash it I have a large diamond plate toolbox for my saws and kombi system.

You know, you could put a nice vertical sign on your new trailer mod there. You could add some sheet metal to the sides and then paint it.

Then put some vinyl signage on it!

I added a pretty slick feature to it today. I went down to Lowes and got a bunch of eye bolts. I was just using bunjee cords and hooking them into the holes in the mesh. They were hard to remove so I needed a better way. So with the eye bolt, I have a nut and 1" wide flat washer with a 1/4" opening on one side, then on the other side same flat washer again, split washer and a nut.

Now I have the ultimate in unlimited choices to put hooks in the cage to tie things down.

Love the set up. What did you use to build the cage? im looking to build one for my trailer. also what grade mesh did you get. im needing to get some for my gate on my trailer
