Don't have one but I am going to start to get one starting in January, even if I put $50 at a time, even though $50, only gives me $600 for 1 year, I can increase the amount as I go I'm sure lol

I personally only have a bank account for one reason and thats to cash my checks I have a huge browning safe I keep $$$$ in. Anything controlled by the goverment I stay away from. If by chance we was to have some major disaster ie: a major power outage guess what your not getting into your bank to get your money and by chance the computer systems get fried now you have your money tied up in a bank controlled by the goverment who all of a sudden says "What money" "who are you" My money gets cashed and stashed no one takes care of your money better then you do, I invest in real estate if I need place to put large amounts of money other then that my E-fund right were its safe

I dont mean to sound like an a$$ and I agree to a point but I would be much more worried about inflation if your in the states then the other things you listed. but thats another topic all together.
