Quite often we will talk about other services lawn care operators offer and other businesses they are involved with. This article talks about an lco who bought a graphic design and screen printing business.

Would you ever be interested in running such a business? Would it be a good side project?

Signature Designs, new owners strive to keep business in county - For Paul and Lori Knarr, of Dry Ridge, this Christmas season has been like no other. This year, they've been up to their elbows in thread, T-shirts, sweatshirts, signs, jackets, hats and lots of other stuff.

That's because the Knarrs are the new owners of Signature Designs in Dry Ridge, a position they've held since Oct. 1 when they purchased the business from Katrina Hollis.

"I thought it would be a good opportunity," said Paul. "I saw potential in it."

Paul and Lori took on the venture despite knowing little about the design business. Lori works in the engineering department at Gusher Pumps and Paul is a real estate agent for ReMax and owns his own lawn care business.

"He (Paul) runs his own lawn car e business, of course, but it's nothing compared to designing graphics," said Lori. "He can see the vision and see opportunity."
