You end up making more money when you have small cleanup jobs and you charge each the $35 minimum disposal fee. Then you fill your trailer and go dump. By this time there have been times when I have charged up to $140 for disposal because I did 4 small clean up jobs. So instead of charging the $55 for the trailer load, I accumulated $140 for the same amount of work.
That's a smart move! Nice.

55 to 65 an hour sounds high to me if you will be using a push mower and hand tools. That's typically what you would charge with Z turn mowers and power tools.

Not to hijack the thread, but what is a good hourly rate if using the powertools he has and a 21" mower? $40? That would explain all the guys running around my area doing $20 cuts as most yards take about 30 minutes. I dont know how big my yard is, but it takes me 45 minutes to mow, trim, edge and blow. I would probably charge $35 dollars for my yard.

A lot of that is based on what your area is willing to pay while the other part of the equation is knowing how much it costs you to operate that equipment. You can break it down to figure out what your operating expenses are per hour. From there you would have a better feel of what you should be charging.
