Getting paid is a feeling of "being complete"

Finishing a job is similar, but not as rewarding.

When I get paid, I feel as if I just lost 100 pounds & I'm floating.

Congratulations on your trim job!

This is very interesting!

If you were to have bid it on your own, how do you feel your bid would have differed from what your friend helped you bid?

What did this experience teach you?

What kinds of advertising has helped you get your customers? How long did it take to get them?

I would have bid this for about 40 bucks, not having any idea what to bid.

I use the local penny saver, display ad "lawn mowing, shrub trimming". it cost about 48 bucks a month (4 weeks) and has gotten me 15 customers, on weekly or bi weekly cuts, and now two hedge trimming jobs.

My father in law had a business for about 40 years and the only advertising he did was the penny saver, and at his 'height' he was knocking down 1 to 150 K per year.

Do you feel this experience has changed the way you will bid on future jobs?
