Thumbs up Educate Yourself

My name is Clinton Mizell out of N. Charleston, SC (Mizell's Lawn Care Service, LLC), and I have been a member of GopherHaul going on maybe a year now and have recieved alot of valuable information from the site. I have also enrolled in the Lawn Business School and encourage everyone to take this course. I am on my 26th lesson of 69 and it is going great! Regaurdless of how much knowledge you think you may have, there will be some information within the readings that you either don't know or have forgotten about. Not only that, it is free and you will recieve a nice certificate and depending on your passing grade, if I remember correctly, you will recieve a Gold Seal with a 90% or higher score. Anyone can pass this course with a 100% correct answers if you take your time and read and then re-read the text before answering the questions. I missed only one question so far and that is only because I didn't pay attention to my choice of answer. I am on my 26th lesson of 69 with one question missed on the testing so far and I don't plan on missing anymore.

Lawn care business tips
I like your idea of educating yourself. I have my degree in Environmental Design (Landscape design/Hort course) and even though I have taken so many courses, there is still a wealth of information out there that I am learning.

I am getting my MNLA (Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association) certification soon and the tests are hard but the reason why it is hard is because they want you to know the information. If it wasn't hard I wouldn't be learning anything.

Is there a link for your website? Is it just in your area that this class goes on?

No, I am changing my business name in the near future and I will have a website up and running then. I am taking the course right here on GopherHaul. Just click on the link above; Lawn Business School.
