Life changes your way of thinking - not you. What's important is how your way of thinking changes your life!
Can you tell me more what you mean by this? Have you seen this in others where either it turned out for the better or turned out for the worse?

Man can not just change his way of thinking. His life experiences is what changes his way of thinking. A few years ago, the headlines were screaming "Eleven Children are killed by handguns in the US every day" Wow, 11 a day. That's over 4,000 a year! This dominated the news with no verification, scrutiny, or dissenting views. The cries went out from every politician in the land to crack down on handguns.

A few days later, on September 11th, this all changed. Terrorist on our Soil? We really aren't safe! WE need to be able to defend ourselves. 4,000 children killed a year? That just doesn't seem to add up.

Now the "Gun Freaks" were beginning to be heard. A check of the FBI crime database showed 353 total firearm deaths for the year. What there were only 353 total firearm deaths. Where did the 4,000 children deaths come from.

FBI analysis showed that there were a little less than 100 deaths under age 18. 61 Gang related, 21 drug related, 13 accident related, and 11 suicide related. Number of deaths contributed to lea gal handguns - 2.

Life experience that changed how Americans felt about handguns because of a totally fabricated report. Make handguns illegal.

Life experiences that changed how Americans felt about their security - 9-11

Life experiences that changed how Americans felt about handguns. The debunking of the 4,000 farce.

The results of the above: Legal handguns became even harder to obtain. The result - a boom in the availability of illegal handguns. Why, life experiences changed the way people thought!

Making a livelihood. The town I came from - Cortland. NY. In 1966 manufacturing was king. Smith Carona had 11 typewrite factories employing over 3,000 people. Brockway Trucks had 2 plants employing over 500. Wilson Sporting Goods employing over 400. The Crescent Corset Company (Playtex). Thompson Boat Company employing 100. Tandy Corporation employing almost 1,000.

For the reader that is sitting there, toying with the idea of starting their own business, how does knowing this, help them?

How can he alter his future experiences in order to help him change his way of thinking. Or should he even consider doing this?

It gives them a more realistic point of view. A starting point for research. Basis for a balance sheet so to speak. A plan for the worst while cultivating the best attitude from both the good and the bad life influences.
