Default Storage

Two days ago I went to my doc for a prescription refill of Lipator, although I eat well, lots of excercise etc. this is an issue that has been in both sides of my family, anyhow he tells me due to my work I should get a flu shot and a shot for this swine flu, I am basically never sick however I agreeed, OMG, yesterday I was in rough shape, awake all night with fly symptoms so I called first thing in the morning and he said this was a side effect for some people.

Tried doing paperwork but just didn't feel like it so.....

A week or so back I had one of the crews come in and clear some trees, my rental garage fell through so I decided to just build onto my woodworking shed, the new storage is 15' 6" X 36 feet. Although pretty sick yesterday the sheathing is on the roof and two walls, I used the small excavator to lift the sheets up to the roof as I didn't have a helper.

If I can get one more day, I will have it weather tight, siding can wait until next year, will put a regular garage door on, just a cheaper one, I see there is a place here in Halifax that sells scratched ones for a fraction of a new one, don't want to spend a fortune as it's only a storage garage.

For some reason the forum won't take attachments and I am heading to a site, will try this evening.

Make sure the file size isn't too big or it won't let it upload. I am thinking that is the problem.

The new construction looks amazing! I can't believe you are able to do that all on your own like that! WOW!

Will you have to pour a concrete slab for a floor or no? Also does the area need to be kept heated for the equipment?

Perhaps some help? How do i make sure that the file size isn't to big. Where can the corrections be made? Are they made on the camera and can they be compacted to correct size?
i am not very computer sharp.Oh yes! Nice digs Andy.

Well if the file size is too big and the forum doesn't accept them, you can resize the photo in a graphics program.

You can also change a setting on your camera to lower the resolution of the image it takes as well.

The file size was fine, it let me later edit and add and I had already reduced the image size.

I use the equipment to help me and I have built just about everything over the years including 10 houses after I left the bank until I decided what I wanted to do for a next career so I have just about ever tool going, air tools on construction make things fly.

It will not be heated as it's just storage, I have one of those salamander heaters should I ever need to do some work in there are I will put in two sky lights for natural light and will wire it myself.....if this rain ever stops.

It has a class a floor, I doubt I will ever put concrete in there, no real need and it would be expensive to do. I simply compacted the class A, it's like concrete at the moment.

I think it's a good deal. No more equipment outside, especially during the winter!

How does the cost of building it yourself compare with throwing up a prefab structure? Did you check into those or no?

Fraction of the cost as I have the gear to build it, probably 1/3 the cost
