please help me bid my first commerical job

I am doing a estimate for an apartment complex. This is my first time bidding commerical. The apartment complex has 7 buildings including the clubhouse and one standalone building, all the othe buildings have courtyards in the middle. There is appox 280 unit and 947 bedrooms The estimate should be broke down in 3 parts 1) Mow, trimming, egding and blowing 2) bush and shrub trimming along with weed control 3) Tree and palm trimming Is there a formula or caluation that is used to figure this out? Also do the still use the once a week in the summer and twice a month during the off season. Also what about changing the flower in the enter way every couple of week or once month or so..

Lawn care business tips

Is there a formula or caluation that is used to figure this out? I think you are going to have to break this down into digestible sections. Possibly take this map and break it down into 9 properties. How long will it take to service each property? Also do the still use the once a week in the summer and twice a month during the off season. I don't know how fast everything is going to grow there in the off season. You may need to be there weekly year round. What about trash pickup on the lawn and parking areas? Also what about changing the flower in the enter way every couple of week or once month or so.. Have you asked them how often they want the flowers changed? Can you walk the property and keep track and find the amount of lawn to be mowed per property. How many linear feet of trimming you need to do. How many bushes and trees that will need to be trimmed. Break it all down and have some hard figures. Then you will be able to better use the estimators to figure out some sort of time. Are you servicing any properties now that are comparable to a single property here you could use as a reference?
