What do you guys do about customers that don't pick up after their dog. Do you ask the customer to please do this? Do you charge them to do it? I have one customer that's really bothering me with their dog.

Lawn care business tips

Not sure its the BEST answer, but I had one that did quite a few "land mines" so I mowed around them all, leaving sections of uncut grass. The customer did nothing for 2 cuts, but then started to clean the yard better, when they fiqured out that I would not cut through them anymore.

Never thought of that but it's a good idea! I bet its alot easier for those using ride ons.

i just plow through it, i can't be bother to screw up my stripes for some dog stuff. most of it is gone by the time i finish the stripe, and if there is any left it'll be gone when i hose off the machine at the end of the day.

Make sure you have no treads on your boots

We just keep on mowin' , too. But, I would say there may be bigger dogs with bigger messes. In this case, I would state our genral policy: We do complete lawn care, but there is an appropriate fee involved for each thing we do.

Who knows! maybe the customer would pay for that service too, I guess you don't know until you ask
