Lawn care business tips
Quote:
I have one freind that started his landscaping business a couple weeks ago, I got him 10 new accouts last week.
Be freinds with everyone and they will get you new business.
That is fantastic work! I am guessing you got some of your current contacts or customers to sign up with him?

In this situation does it come down to contacting who you already know or were these all new clients for you?

I bet he was blown away by your help.

That is amazing. What advice do you have when it comes to staying in contact with buyers and friends? Do you use newsletters or print material or is it more internet focused like myspace and facebook?

How often should a person be reaching out to these contacts?

Best thing is cell phones, Program all #s and birthdays and pick up the phone and just say (whats up!!!!!

Myspace/Face Book are really great ways to keep up with thier lives. They hide nothing on those. haha

If you just be frieds with them they will folow up with you. When your friends them, it does not meen you have to hang out with them all the time. Just act like it!! HAHA

Its funny but it works!
Referals are your best leads!!

I will admit follow up with buyers are my hardest things to do because it is hard read them over the phone, But it realy has to be done no matter how much I hate it!!!!!

I hope guys are okay with they way miss spell alot of words.

Thanx!

Very interesting! How do you suggest going about getting their bday without sounding strange when asking?

Are these follow up calls with customers who have already bought from you or is this more if they are on the fence about a product and you are just checking in to see where they stand?

Do you have any advice as to how to best go about this?

Grind your teeth and do it. Stay friendly
Always make notes if they have kids, names, ages, car they drive. Make notes on anything, so when you call you will have something to to discuss.

How is your kids doing? Are you taking care of that nice Cadillac. Can I use it HAHAHA! Just brake the ice!!

Thanx!
