Well the reason for the "S" (river) is because the company is named after the Little Blue River that runs through my service area and my hometown. I thought without some type of "river logo" in the logo, the name would lose meaning. Not sure if that makes sense.

Maybe if you called your company Little Blue River Lawn Care it would make more sense.

Well first of all to you, my fellow Missourian, Thanks for your service to our Great Country. Second, I agree with your preference as well. However, I would prefer to see it with the river in the middle, similar to the bottom two. Or perhaps have the river reversed and then when it gets down below "care" have it turn and run horizontal below "care" as an underscore. does that make sense? Either way, I would prefer to see it with a river, since the people in your area know about the little blue river and would likely make the connection. Local Pride.... I also do not like "boxing in" the river. Are there any local tales or legends concerning the river that you can incorporate into your logo?

Another option would be to place a "globe" in the middle of the logo or at the beginning of the logo, with the river running over the globe, top to bottom. But don't "restrict" the river more than you have too. "Show me the river"!!!! After all, we live in the "show me" state. Like I said, in my opinion the river needs to stay one way or the other and from the perspective of the little blue river being the insinuation for your name I don't think the top right with its small blue triangles are sufficient.

Good luck,
Eli

Hey Eli-

The river part of the logo is important, as far as local tales or legends...not sure how I could fit a civil war battle into it. lol. Originally I asked him to run it through the middle on that one and he said it kind of threw everything off, so that's why we went with it on the side.

I'm 99% sure this is the one I'm going to go with. Decisions, decisions....

Thanks again everyone.
