Logo Redone

Here about a month or so ago I posted a logo I was thinking about using. I spoke to my brother since he is doing my website. He suggested other colors due to the color he plans to make my website. I am currently thinking of having this logo as the header of my website. Below my name I plan to have some sort of marque, possibly the areas I service. I had some issues with the stripe I put under "equipment" and this is about as good as I could get it. Tell me what you think of it. Should the glow around the chain saw bar be less??? anyway, here it is.

Lawn care business tips

I personally really like it, colors are great and the motto is excellent. I might consider a little narrower glow, maybe half what you have, I would look at or try to widen the bar just a little and put your website address on the bar also, but then again on business cards etc. people might not be able to read it. Just curious if he could make the motto follow the top contour of the chainsaw bar, that would be neat.

I had my web address on it but like my brother said, when it is used for my website header there is no need for it because people are already on my website! But when used as a logo or on business cards I think I may find a way to put it on. I would also need to put my phone # and address on it. I am trying to stay away from stretching the height of the bar because I think it makes the bar look out of proportion.

In have now reduced the outer glow and arced my slogan. I do all my own graphics work when it comes to this logo so I can easily make changes and see what it looks like with the only investment being time. I have made logos for an organization where I am a member of and kind of enjoy doing it.

Now that looks really sharp to me, would look excellent on your vehicles as well, a real eye catcher!

Personally I liked the top text straight, It does look better now with the glow decreased. The only thing I might say is can you lower the chain saw bar down in the image? Looks like it's centered (vertically) & the top text is squeezed in there. If you move the bar down it will look a bit more uniform & customized. Do you understand what I mean here?

Here is the reason I don't want to move the chain saw bar down:

-on the website it will have a marque running below it which will be taking the space up just like the top is being used up.

-On business cards and anything else I will have an address/phone # in that space.

And here is the business card I designed just today. Does the card look to busy? If you notice when you click on the image it is more than twice as big as a business card but this permitted me to better design it. Any suggestions?
