I am hiring a new crew leader this spring. He will be in charge of a weekly route of 180 houses. He job duties will include mowing, paperwork, estimates, acquiring new business and managing 3 employees. The last guy i had i paid 12.00/hr plus quarter bonuses on new customers and a bonus on the work he brought in, but the motivation isnt really there..
I have heard of people paying on a percentage scale and would like to know more about this because it would keep my cost fixed but am weary of going this way cuz its new to me..
