Default Im offering web design now.

It's taken me 2 years to feel confidant in my abilities to offer this service, so here it is.

The link below is a sample website for a FICTITIOUS company and is an example of what you get with website design. For now only the homepage is done, but in the coming days I'll make the site 100% so the customer can see exactly what they would get for the $500. I've looked around and my price seems fair, I've seen it much higher, and some even lower. Based on the time it takes me to do a site, the price seems pretty fair.

So take a look and let me know if you have any suggestions.

Bob

Lawn care business tips
That is awesome. Now does the lawn care business need a domain and a host or do you take care of all of that?

Thanks Steve!

I got most of the "sample site" done. The only thing left to do is the "contact us" page. All in all i think it looks pretty good. And of course, with all of the products I offer on my site it is designed however the customer wants (provided I can meet their requests). I only did it as an example so the customer an see what their site might look like.

The cost would not include the Domain Name or the hosting of the site. I would point the LCO in some sort of direction if needed, but those fees would be their responsibility.

Bob

What I also like is that you can help them create a total theme with their website design and their marketing material. Heck you could even potentially offer packages. Like a website design and a postcard design. Or maybe a website design and 4 seasonal postcard designs and printing. Maybe it could even be a monthly fee to cover all this that one would pay throughout the year to even out their marketing fees. The more ideas you play around with, the more potential you have to hit on something that really takes off.

From my experience, most new lawn care business owners have no idea on what hosting is or what domain name registration is or even how to do it. I can understand because it's like a foreign language.

The more you offer to smooth over these bumps the easier it will be for them to decide to go with you.
