Palms are a pain. I know some tree guys that wont even touch them. Trees are a lot harder than most people think (unless they have tried to remove one themselves). That is why tree companies charge a lot for them.

Great, I have read everyone’s post and learn a lot. Here is the thing. I've got a company out of Raleigh, NC with he NC Emergency Management (NCEM) that go's out after a storms and cuts tress off of peoples houses so that they can start getting the repairs done. Then they subcontract to have it removed. I've taken down trees before and had to remove and cleanup, but it’s been a long time ago. Once the NCEM sends me the addresses, I’m going to go and take pictures and post them. But the first one I may get bet on. I’m thinking $125 hr with a less 4 hrs. That takes care of all the labors, trailer rental, taxes, gas, etc. I will clear about $125. That’s not bad I thinking for 4 hrs of work. Please let me know if I’m headed in the right direction.

If I understand you right, you are saying you will clear $125 after 4 hours? It should be more than that if you bid it right.
